Hello everyone!
We hope you are having a fantastic Christmas season! Ooh..the music, the Christmas trees, the decadent baking, the wrapping paper all over the living room floor, and most importantly, the season we celebrate Jesus Christ's birth and the amazing gift of salvation He has given to us by coming to earth if we trust in Him with our lives. Christmas is my (Liz) favorite time of the year, for all these reasons.
We are sharing today with you a little bit about some natural cosmetic products we use and make.
Here goes!
Homemade Foundation Primer
We hope you are having a fantastic Christmas season! Ooh..the music, the Christmas trees, the decadent baking, the wrapping paper all over the living room floor, and most importantly, the season we celebrate Jesus Christ's birth and the amazing gift of salvation He has given to us by coming to earth if we trust in Him with our lives. Christmas is my (Liz) favorite time of the year, for all these reasons.
We are sharing today with you a little bit about some natural cosmetic products we use and make.
Here goes!
Homemade Foundation Primer
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons pure aloe vera gel
1/2 teaspoon softened virgin coconut oil
(I use this brand)
2-3 drops honey
Tiny amount of foundation for tint (optional)
Mix all of the ingredients together with a fork or small whisk for about 60 seconds.
Store in a tight container. I use an old container from a primer I bought a while ago which has a pump on it. Works perfectly. :)

This primer should last about 30 days with daily use, and none of these ingredients will expire.
Note: I don't measure the quantities exactly, so don't worry if your measurements are a little off. :)
Note: This primer tends to make my face look shinier and a little more oily looking than it naturally is. If you don't want your face to look like that, you could use a good quality mattifying powder.
Natural Lip Balm
We hope you found this post helpful! We'd love to hear about your experiences with these products if you try them. :)
"And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”
Luke 1:31-33
Merry Christmas from Liz and Sarah
Natural Lip Balm
This is 100% natural lipbalm that I (Sarah) make and sell. If you check out my personal blog simplyveganrecipesblog.blogspot.com and go under 'Products' I have all the information up about it. If you want to order any or know the ingredients just shoot me an email. They make wonderful gifts for this Christmas!
Natural Gabriel Liquid Foundation
I (Sarah) use Gabriel foundation. It's 100% natural, oil-free and vegan, the only kick is that it's expensive. On the other hand though, it lasts forever!! So if you're wanting good skin and no chemicals and you have a bit of cash that you don't mind spending, this is the way to go. I only use this kind of foundation on my face and I love it. :)
