12 Easter Recipe Ideas

Easter is almost here, guys! Have you planned your menu yet? If not, or you still want to add a couple more things to it, we've put together a few of our favorite recipes that might help inspire you as you plan. :)

My family is planning to have turkey and gravy, my sisters amazing cranberry salad, stuffing, whipped potatoes, salad, and sweet potato. We still have to work out what we'll have for dessert.

This Easter will be extra special for my (Liz's) family. It is of course always special because it is when family can come together to celebrate Christ rising from the grave, which is one of the most important and extraordinary times in History that we can celebrate. Without Him dying on the cross and rising from the grave, we could not have the truly amazing gift of salvation. Easter is always special, but I think it'll be even more memorable this year, since for the first time in my life on Easter, all of my extended family on my mom's side is going to be together! I'm really looking forward to the special memories that'll be made, as well as enjoying all the wonderful food & fellowship.

So, shall we get to it? Here's 10 Easter Recipe Ideas. Enjoy!

This is my favorite bundt cake evah! It's moist, fresh, and delicious. The apples, pecans, nutmeg, and cinnamon is what makes this so good. But, what makes is really good is the topping we put over it. It gives a sweet, caramely taste that you'll love!

Homemade Dinner Rolls

These are the perfect classic dinner rolls. As soon as you bite in, you're greeted with a fresh, buttery taste.

I love making these for an extra treat for dinner. They go so well with so many meals; especially soup! On Saturday I made them for my grandpa's birthday celebration. I also made a New York Style Cheesecake during/after making these rolls for his birthday cake. So Saturday was a very busy day in the kitchen! But I love baking, so I don't mind spending lots of time there. :)

Greek Salad

Rich. Flavorful. Incredible.

The past few months I've gotten away from making salads for our evening meals. But I'm determined to get back into it. So the other day we went out and got the ingredients for this flavour packed greek salad. Making this again reminded me of how much I love this salad. I used to make it all. the. time. I love it, and I think you will too as long as you like feta cheese and olives!

Party Popcorn : Game Day Snacks!

Classic popcorn with an exciting peanut, cranberry and chocolate chip twist to it!

We're sharing one more snack this weekend before the Grey Cup, so you can have loads of different ideas for what to share with your family while watching the game. :)

We decided not to add any butter or salt to this recipe, as that does make it healthier. Yeah, I know, usually you always have to have salt and butter with your popcorn, but the peanuts make up for it! They're nice and salty, and they sort of give a buttery kind of illusion. And the cranberries and chocolate chips give a sweet and slightly sour taste. :)

We used sugar free chocolate chips in this recipe, but if you don't have any of those, go ahead and add semi-sweet chocolate chips. :)

Fresh Strawberry Almond Salad

This is a perfect salad for a summer afternoon. It starts out like a regular garden salad then...wala! you have a fresh, tangy side dish to go along with a wonderful steaming hot main course like this one

Cranberry Brie Sandwich

Hey people!

We have for you this amazingly easy & delicious Cranberry Brie Sandwich recipe.

This is a really neat combination - it has a slightly sour taste from the cranberries and sour cream, and then a bouncy, sensation from the bits of Brie cheese plus a surge of freshness from the grapes and lettuce - all put together into one delicious sandwich!

Fresh Rainbow Salad

A delicious burst of sunshine and rainbow right in your mouth

Classic Caesar Salad

Here's a fresh, classic side dish that goes perfectly with a lasagna, delicious skillet spaghetti, or any main dish of your choosing. It has a nice seasoning taste from the sourdough croutons (or your desired type of croutons) with a delicious mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and pepper sauce along with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese to liven up the fresh romaine lettuce. This makes a easy salad that you'll love for a quick snack, side dish, or a healthy lunch option.
