Carrot Cake Smoothie

A classic carrot cake in a glass




That sounds amazing, doesn't it? Well, it is. :) I love the fall essence it brings with the nutmeg, and the great classic carrot cake topping taste -- the cream cheese.

Smoothies are always quick and easy to make, which is a great bonus if you're running out the door and want something delicious to quickly gobble up!





Carrot Cake Smoothie

Ingredients
Yields: 1 large serving

4 small slices of cold banana
1 cup diced and peeled carrots (about 2 medium-sized carrots)
2/3 cup almond milk
1/2 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
1 and 1/2 tsp. cream cheese
3 and 1/2 tsp. maple syrup
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions

Put all ingredients in blender and pulse until smooth. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
