No Bake Sweet & Salty Energy Bites

A wonderful combination of sweet and salty... these bites are the perfect snack to give you energy to get through your day!

Hello all! We have a pretty cool post up for you today, not just because these energy bites are amazzzingg, but because Sarah and I actually got to make this recipe and take the photos in person!! It's always really special when we get to see each other in person, instead of online.

Have any of you noticed anything different about the blog? Well, now you can find us at healthyforgoodblog.com instead of healthyforgoodblog.blogspot.com!! (If you put in the blogspot one, don't worry, it'll redirect you. :)

So, what's so amazing about these bites? Well, they are so filling, taste incredible, and are super healthy for you! The peanut butter, honey, cranberry, coconut, walnut, and almond flavor make up a snack that you won't be able to resist!

These bites are also super easy to make! All you have to do is combine all the ingredients, roll into balls (if it's too gooey, you can refrigerate for half an hour), and enjoy!
You can store these in an airtight container and refrigerate for about a week... although I kinda doubt that these will last a week! In our house, they disappeared within 2 days. :)

Let us know in the comments below or via social media what you think of these!

No Bake Sweet & Salty Energy Bites

Yields: 20 Bites

Ingredients

2 cups (dry) oatmeal (We used Quick Oats)
1 and 1/3 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup slivered almonds

1 cup walnut pieces
1 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. With a wooden spoon, mix together all the ingredients until thoroughly combined. If the dough is too hard to form into balls, refrigerate for 1/2 hour.
2. Remove from fridge and form into balls. About 1" diameter.
3. Store in air-tight container and refrigerate.

Enjoy!
