Low Sugar Giant Glazed Cinnamon Roll Cake

One of my favorite desserts are cinnamon rolls. But, to be honest a traditional recipe takes forever to make. You know what I'm talking about... you have to make the cinnamon rolls, and then they have to sit in the fridge allll night long and then you have to bake them in the morning. When I make something that smells as good as cinnamon rolls, I don't feel like waiting that long to be able to eat them. It's just a huge pain.
So, what if we can have this scrumptious dessert without having to wait 8 or 10 hours to eat it? Aaand we can have it in CAKE form!! It's brilliant, in my opinion! So here you have it... a GIANT cinnamon roll cake, and it's low sugar!

Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice

You guys must be able to relate to me when you want to make the most amazing fall recipe, such as a pumpkin pie, this caramel popcorn, or these pumpkin cream cheese swirl muffins, but you don't have any pumpkin pie spice. So, you might result to just putting a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg in instead; but that doesn't always cut it.
As a solution, I have a very easy recipe here for homemade pumpkin pie spice that does contain nutmeg and cinnamon, but is amped-up with some allspice and ginger, as well! Making pumpkin pie spice at home is also cheaper than buying it at the store, and you have control over your measurements.  If you're more of a nutmeg girl, or you really like ginger, go ahead and put a bit extra in this mixture.

I love using Watkins spices in my baking, which is what I'm using here. They have great flavor and they're high-quality. If you have never tried them, I totally recommend you do! Most of their products are natural and they're made in the USA.
So, now that we have established that you should totally use this homemade spice recipe, and make it with Watkins spices, shall we get on over to our kitchen and make a batch? Fantastic! ;)
